Nexus has been very successful as a distributor for its Partners. In 2001, Nexus became acquainted with an Illinois based MGU. The MGU had a sizeable book of business that had been developed through previous relationships. They desired to grow, but lacked a marketing strategy and internal sales team. Nexus agreed to represent them as an MGU and at the same time assist with their brand identification and awareness in the stop loss market. Nexus developed a national block of TPAs that continue to maintain a muti-million dollar book of business with the MGU.
