Associations are a focus market for Nexus. They bring large blocks of people via membership that have unique needs for insurance. Nexus has several product solutions that connect the membership base to its Association thereby validating and strengthening the need to be a member.

We often find that the Association’s member base is fragmented into subsets of large members with 25+ employees and smaller members with 1-10+ employees. Aggregating membership buying-power into a solution that fits all members is usually a difficult task since not all members fall into the same insurance profile. Also, larger members have access to traditional markets for group insurance via Benefit Plan Advisors. Smaller members may have limited options due to size or budget.

Therefore, Nexus has solutions that fit the individual member’s needs. Universally, we find that people are most concerned about affordable health and dental insurance and protecting their financial security via life insurance. To meet these needs, Nexus has products that are 100% online, meaning that members can enroll themselves at any time and obtain same or next day coverage.

These programs are well supported with a call center for member questions. Promotional materials are provided for Associations to introduce and educate members about the products via their website, newsletters and other member communications. Nexus solutions bring value to the Association, and the ability to co-brand the products allows the Association to improve member retention and attract new members.
