Since inception, Third Party Administrators [TPAs] have been an integral part of Nexus’ core business model. Having managed TPAs previously, Nexus Partners have intimate knowledge of the structure, operations and customer profiles of TPAs. For the past decade, Nexus has provided multiple markets for medical stop loss insurance using niche MGUs targeting specific segments such as employers with 10+ employees, groups currently fully insured with little or no claims data, or industry specific markets such as hospitals.
While medical stop loss is the majority of our portfolio for TPAs, it is not the sole solution. Our TPA partners serve 5,000 – 100,000+ employees and their dependents, and the insurance needs of these individuals are reached beyond self-funded group plans. Nexus has provided mulitple TPAs solutions for telemedicine, specialty drug and medical managment.
